So did the obvious and ran everything through Netscape and it all works.
Apologies to all for attempting MS.

Just tried absolute URL directly in to IE with same effect.
Tried same in Netscape and it asked if I would like to open using
Cortona - this worked and opened it in IE correctly - if any buttons are
used however they fail.

The 3d status map does not work as SSL
You will have to change the page to none encrypted
I changed /usr/local/nagios/share/side.html so the link for the 3-D
Status Map was an absolute link to http://servername/nagios/cgi-bin...
Rather than the relative path that brings it up https

downloaded the cortona control vrml plugin and verified that it works
with other sites. Still get the download statuswrl.cgi?host=all message
from 3-d status map link.
Is this an apache configuration issue? Any ideas?
